Christmas decorations are kind of funny.
They go through fads and phases just like everything. When I was little I thought my grandmother's decorations were horrible. Embarassing. They always got shoved to the back of the boxes when I was helping and replaced by more "traditional" and "modern" decor. No aqua and teal felt ornaments for me. No weird little felt and plastic elves. Pretty much no felt at all. No shiny turqouise color balls or any sequins for sure.
